Eskamani Raises Nearly $100,000 in Just Two Weeks, Fueled by Grassroots Support and Momentum on the Ground

Orlando, FL — In just two weeks since the close of Florida’s legislative session, Representative Dr. Anna V. Eskamani’s campaign for Mayor of Orlando has raised nearly $100,000 — a powerful show of grassroots strength and community momentum.

Due to state law prohibiting fundraising during the legislative session, this surge in support came in a very short window: from June 17 through June 30. In that time, the campaign received approximately 3,000 contributions from 2,800 individual donors, with an average donation of $23 — underscoring the campaign’s commitment to people-powered politics. This is all in addition to the more than $400,000 the campaign raised prior to legislative session starting.

“Our campaign isn't fueled by corporate PACs or wealthy insiders — it's powered by everyday people who want bold, accountable leadership at City Hall,” said Eskamani. “To raise nearly six figures in just two weeks — right after legislative session — sends a clear message: Orlando is ready for the future.”

The campaign’s momentum isn’t limited to financial support. This year, Eskamani’s team has already knocked on 5,000 doors across Orlando, bringing their message directly to voters and listening to community needs.

“Across the City Beautiful, we’re having real conversations about the future of our city — and people are fired up,” Eskamani added.

With more events, community forums, and canvassing scheduled throughout the summer, the campaign is ramping up for a strong second half of 2025.
