Dr. Anna V. Eskamani Announces More Than $1 Million Fundraising Haul, Powered by 23,000+ Grassroots Donations in Campaign for Mayor of Orlando

ORLANDO, FL – State Representative Dr. Anna V. Eskamani announced today that she has received more than $1 Million in contributions to date to support her campaign for Mayor of Orlando, fueled by unprecedented grassroots energy and broad-based support.

In this last year and up to today, this campaign received contributions from over 14,500 donors, reflecting the campaign’s commitment to building a movement powered by people, not corporate special interests. With an average donation of $25, the campaign continues to demonstrate that everyday people are the driving force behind Eskamani’s vision for a responsive, people-first Orlando.

“This campaign is powered by everyday Orlandoans who believe our city can be more affordable, more connected, and safer for everyone,” said Dr. Anna V. Eskamani. “Raising over one million dollars from thousands of grassroots donors sends a clear message: people are ready for leadership that listens, leads with integrity, solves problems, and puts community first. Together, we’re building a movement that reflects the heart of Orlando and delivers real results for working families.”

In addition to this fundraising milestone, the campaign has earned endorsements from major organizations, including SEIU Florida, the Sierra Club of Florida, Equality Florida, UNITE HERE, and many others.

Eskamani’s campaign has already mobilized hundreds of volunteers and knocked on more than 33,000 doors across the city, hosting community events to engage residents directly in shaping Orlando’s future. By community request, her team has distributed nearly 900 yard signs as well.

“The momentum behind this campaign is undeniable,” Eskamani added. “From labor leaders and environmental advocates to small-dollar donors and volunteers knocking doors across our city, this is a people-powered movement. With this level of energy and support, we’re ready to win — and to build an Orlando that truly works for everyone.”
